  See the last 10 days of activity. With Nest Protect, you’ll always know when alerts happen and why. And that can help the fire department figure things out in an emergency – like where a CO leak is coming from.

If Nest Protect’s carbon monoxide alarm goes off, your Nest Thermostat automatically turns off your boiler—a possible source of poisonous carbon monoxide leaks. In addition, the Nest Protect activity sensors improve the Auto-Away feature of your Nest Learning Thermostat.

Makes you a promise.

Nobody ever looks up. But one night as you lay in bed, you might notice your smoke alarm blink. And you’ll wonder, is it blinking because it’s working? Or because it’s broken?

Nest Protect has a better way: Nightly Promise. It’s a quick green glow when the lights go out that means the batteries and sensors are working.

If there’s an issue, like the batteries need replacing, the light ring will glow yellow. Simply press the Nest button and it will tell you what's wrong.
