The VB video balun range are passive (non-amplified) devices that allow the transmission of real-time CCTV video signal via cost-effective Un-shielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable. Base band (composite) signals of any type are supported. Screw-less terminal blocks allow tool-less connection of UTP cable for the output. Used in pairs the VB range eliminates costly and bulky coaxial cable, allowing live CCTV colour video signal up to 1300ft/400m, all of the units in the VB range are compatible. Using our active receiver up to 2600ft/800m can be achieved.The interference rejection and low emissions of the range allow video signals to coexist in the same wire bundle as telephone, datacom, or low-voltage power circuits, allowing the use of shared or existing cable runs. VB range has built-in surge suppression to protect equipment against damaging voltage spikes. Crosstalk & noise immunity ensures quality video signals.
