Relay Switch (1 x 2.5kW)

The Relay Switch can be used to switch electronic devices on and off, either at will or in response to stimuli. Fibaro can use relays to turn your boiler on before you wake, ready for your morning shower, or to activate your ventilation system in response to rising humidity. Relay Switches allow the incorporation of a wide variety of electrical equipment into the Fibaro system. This model can switch a single device of up to 2.5kW load (10 Amps).

The main premise behind the Fibaro System is the possibility to install it in any house, apartment or office building, without damaging the infrastructure. We offer you full control over your house, without the need to damage walls, modify switching stations or exchange switch-keys. It is our system that adjusts to your requirements, and not the other way round. It is one of the many differences which sets us apart from our competitors.

3-minute installation

The installation of our devices takes about 3 minutes. All you need to do is remove a given switch (e.g. the one responsible for switching the lights on and off) from the wall, disconnect it from the wires coming out of the wall, connect the Fibaro module to the wires and reconnect the switch to the module. Next you need to screw the switch into the wall, and thus complete the process of physical installation.

Miniaturized structure

Each Fibaro System module is only 42.5 mm long, 37.0 mm wide and 15.9 mm high, which makes them the world’s smallest devices of this type. Some other advantages of the Fibaro System include neat appearance, reliability and perfection.

Simple and non-invasive installation

To ensure your safety, an electrician or a trained person should install the system. The picture below shows an example of the installation process for one of our products.

Adding a device to the Home Center

In order to complete the installation process, you need to add the installed device to the Home Center, i.e. to our automation center’s database. By putting theHome Center into listen mode and pressing the switch under which our module is located three times, you will complete the installation process. Thanks to the innovative Z-Wave technology, the Fibaro System devices can easily communicate with the Home Center, while the installation of the building automation system is easy and – more importantly – cheap.
